Training Responsible Engineers

Throughout their studies, our engineering students are made aware of the major challenges of the 21st century:

Research Focused on the Ecological Transition

For example, our laboratories are working on topics such as bio-based hydrogen, optimizing the energy mix, autonomous vehicles, CO₂ capture, sustainability and lightweight materials, and new propulsion systems…

ENSTA also contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, such as the Energy for Climate (E4C) center and the Interdisciplinary Center for Seas and Oceans (CIMO), which it helped establish.

A special focus on promoting gender diversity

Following Decree No. 2023-1400 of December 29, 2023, on the publication of indicators on equal opportunities for women and men in higher education institutions, as well as the decrees of December 5, 2023, ENSTA publishes quantitative and qualitative indicators (available in the French version of this page).
