The Media library at the Paris-Saclay Campus

Open to everyone upon registration, the ENSTA media library on the Paris-Saclay campus offers a wide range of reference and educational resources. It also provides users with various spaces where they can browse books, work alone or in groups, relax, or make copies of documents.

Location and Hours

Located on the first floor of the main building, the media library is open

  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

For visitors: You must submit a request in advance by email (documentation@ensta-paris.fr), specifying your name and the days you wish to visit the media library. You will be asked to present a form of identification upon arrival.

Borrowing

Registration is required to borrow materials. Registration is limited to ENSTA and IP Paris students and staff, as well as their partners (Université Paris Saclay and HEC). It is free and can be done upon request at the media library’s front desk.

Once registered, you may borrow up to 10 items at a time for a period of 4 weeks, including 2 DVDs.

Requesting a Document (Interlibrary Loan)

As part of the SUDOC network, our media library offers an “interlibrary loan” service to allow ENSTA users to borrow documents we do not have from other libraries.

Open to the public

The media library offers a quiet environment conducive to studying, discussion, exploration, and relaxation. It includes:

  • 4 collaborative study rooms that can accommodate between 6 and 8 people
  • 50 seats
  • 1 computer area with 6 computers available
  • 1 copy room equipped with a multifunction copier (for students)
  • 1 newspaper and magazine area with print publications available for reading
  • 1 lounge area furnished with beanbag chairs
