Scholarships and Financial Aid

For international students admitted to ENSTA, several scholarship opportunities are available. These different scholarships cannot be combined.

  • ENSTA Foundation Excellence Scholarships

This scholarship is awarded by the ENSTA Foundation to international students admitted to ENSTA, based on criteria of academic excellence, at a rate of one to two per academic year. The School preselects the candidates to be presented to the Foundation.

  • DGA Excellence Scholarships

Each year, ENSTA has the opportunity to obtain scholarships from the French Procurement Department (DGA in French) for students admitted to the engineering program whose career plans are focused on Defense and Security Technologies. Your detailed career plan must be included in your application. The School preselects candidates to be presented to the DGA.

  • ENSTA Scholarships

This financial aid is awarded based on criteria of academic excellence and social-economic need. It is reserved for students admitted to double degree programs. Each year, more than 30 students are awarded this scholarship, depending on the available budget. Once admitted, students fill out a scholarship application form, which allows the School to help those with the most limited resources.

  • Eiffel Scholarships

Eiffel Scholarships are awarded by the French government. Eiffel Scholarship applications are submitted by the School in December of the year N-1 for admission in September of the year N. ENSTA selects the candidates with the best chances of success from among the best students admitted.

For the 2025 academic year, ENSTA has more than 15 scholarship recipients.
