M4S - Interdisciplinary Center Materials for Society

M4S is an interdisciplinary research and teaching center whose mission is to address the major societal challenges related to materials science, whether in the transport, construction and infrastructure, energy, health, digital and communication technologies, security and defense sectors, or more broadly in the context of industrial renewal.

The geographical proximity of specialists from different disciplines at IP Paris, their strong interactions on industrial and societal issues, and the presence of cutting-edge experimental platforms such as the additive manufacturing platform are all strengths on which the M4S Center will be able to build. In addition, M4S will recruit new high-level researchers and teacher-researchers from the outset to complement its expertise.
