Hire for internships or work-study programs

The program offers our students several opportunities to gain professional experience and provides companies with opportunities to recruit future talent early on:

• Internships throughout the program: operator internships, research internships, and capstone internships (see the general engineering program curriculum)
• A strong emphasis on gap years, with 80–90 gap years each year: two 6-month internships (September–February and March–August)
• An apprenticeship track within the general engineering program
• Two specialized work-study programs:
  • Embedded Systems Engineer
  • Mechanical Design Engineer
