Les Presses de l'Ensta

Since the 1970s, ENSTA Press has published books in both French and English, primarily in the fields of science and engineering.

Through the books they publish, the ENSTA Press pursue three main objectives:

  • Contributing to the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge related to the school’s fields of research and teaching
  • Promoting the excellence of the teaching provided
  • Making high-level scientific publications accessible to a wider audience

The publications are divided into three distinct collections:

  • Les Cours, featuring textbooks and exercise books
  • La Recherche, bringing together theses, habilitation dissertations, reports and other outstanding student work
  • Les Actes, including the winning short stories from the annual competition organised by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, as well as conference and symposium proceedings

Each publication is carefully selected by an editorial committee made up of ENSTA faculty members and researchers. Their role is to review the content of manuscripts and assess their quality and relevance prior to publication.
