Spacieta
The goal of the Spacieta club members is to design a mini-rocket or experimental rocket to be tested at C-SPACE, a national event organized by CNES and Planète Sciences. To do so, they must meet the specifications provided to them and successfully complete the various validation stages.
At the start of the year, the club focuses on training new members: they are introduced to the construction of experimental rockets, covering mechanical aspects and onboard systems. Teams are then formed, each developing a unique onboard experiment. Among the ideas explored:
- Measuring pressure at altitude,
- Deploying CanSats (mini-satellites),
- triggering LEDs based on altitude,
- controlled paragliding descent…
These projects follow a comprehensive and rigorous process: planning phase, design (using tools such as CATIA or Excel), followed by fabrication starting in January. Once testing is complete and technical criteria are validated, the projects are submitted to C’Space.
