The media center’s collection covers all of the school’s academic and research fields and is supplemented by a selection of leisure, popular science, and cultural resources. Our ever-growing digital collection provides access to millions of documents. Below you will find information and links to access these resources.

Auto-innovations.com

Auto-innovations.com is a website specializing in automotive innovations. It features a glossary, feature articles, technology news briefs, innovation quizzes, and useful links. To access all articles and feature articles, request a login code from the media center.

Cairn.info

Cairn.info offers digital journals in the humanities and social sciences.

Our subscription covers the following fields: economics, business administration, sociology, and education.

EDP Sciences

EDP Sciences offers scientific journals. It also participates in the National Open Access Agreement in France

  • No off-campus access.

Europresse

Europresse, for reading national and international news.

Ophirofox, an extension for Chrome and Firefox, lets you find articles available on Europresse and access them through the Media Library’s subscription by clicking the “Read on Europresse” button. Install Ophirofox - Ophirofox Guide

IEEEXplore

IEEEXplore offers journals, conference proceedings, and standards from the IEEE (joint subscription with UBO and ENIB).

Mediapart

Médiapart is an independent, participatory online news outlet that is free of advertising and government subsidies.

Science Direct

Science Direct offers full-text access to more than 2,000 science and technology journals dating back to 1996. It also provides access to 2,250 titles published from the beginning (1823) through 2001, thanks to the ISTEX national license.

Scopus

Scopus is a multidisciplinary bibliographic database published by Elsevier. It contains over 54 million bibliographic records. Scopus is also a tool for evaluating scientific information, providing data on journal rankings, researchers’ publications, article citations, and more.

Society of Automotive Engineers

To access the documentation from the SIA (Society of Automotive Engineers), please contact the media library by email.

SpringerLink

SpringerLink offers more than 1,500 journals in science, technology, and medicine, with back issues dating back to 1997. For 1,000 of these journals, back issues are available from their inception through 1996, along with more than 8,500 e-books published prior to 2004 in the publisher’s collections, thanks to the ISTEX national license.

"Techniques de l'ingénieur"

Techniques de l'ingénieur offers scientific and technical encyclopedias containing over 60 million pages of technical information across a wide range of topics, including electrical engineering, computer science, materials science, and more.

VLeBooks (e-books)

VLeBooks is an e-book store. The library has purchased nearly 90 titles, which you can explore in “My Library.” Feel free to suggest new purchases using the “Recommend” button.

ScholarVox Sciences offers 6,000 books on engineering and management sciences available to read online.

ISTEX/national licensing

Under national licensing agreements (ISTEX and the Digital Scientific Library), we have access to the archives of several major publishers. You can find the list here. This amounts to 21 million documents.

From the home page of the Cairn, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and ScholarVox (e-books) websites:

  1. Click “Login/Sign in” or “Off-campus” at the top of the screen, then click “Institutional login”.
  2. Select “ENSTA Bretagne” or “ENSTA” from the list of institutions.
  3. You will be redirected to the ENSTA Brest campus authentication service within the RENATER identity federation via the Shibboleth protocol.
