The Junior Enterprises of ENSTA's two historic campuses, IMPACT and TAEP, were the first student associations to merge, giving rise to a structure of excellence that reflects the quality of the education provided at Paris-Saclay and Brest. This successful union serves as an example for the rest of the new ENSTA's associative life.

The raison d'être of a Junior Enterprise is above all to have students carry out assignments entrusted to them by companies. With its two campuses in Paris-Saclay and Brest, one year after the administrative merger, the new ENSTA represents a pool of more than 2,000 students who can be mobilized to carry out these assignments, representing a wide diversity of profiles with a very broad range of skills.

This is confirmed by Aurélien Gilles, Communications Manager of the Junior Enterprise: "The merger has not only been a means of broadening the range of skills we can offer to companies, but also of contributing to the association's influence in two complementary regional ecosystems, ensuring both the commercial development of the association and the cohesion of its members, regardless of the campus on which they study. “

Because beyond its specific social purpose, TAEP (”Techniques Avancées Etudes et Projets“ or ”Advanced Techniques, Studies and Projects") is above all a collective human adventure that spans a year, with very stimulating and professionalizing tasks for administrators, particularly in the field of team management.

For Théotime Galmiche, current Secretary General and CSR Manager of TAEP, "getting involved in the Junior Enterprise is also very useful for making the right choices in terms of specialization and starting a career, since the missions offer us the opportunity to see what the skills acquired during the course of study look like in practice in the professional world. "

One of the association's main missions for its next term will be to ensure the structure's long-term viability while maintaining a balance between the two campuses and ensuring balanced revenue growth.

"From our own experience, I have learned that in order to maintain motivation, the team must first get along well and maintain its cohesion. This is the price that must be paid to create a new dynamic on both campuses that will bring together all the energy and highlight the unique skills of ENSTA students.

"With this first successful step in the merger of the Junior Enterprises, we will leave the next term of office with a solid foundation on which we hope the association will prosper in a balanced way while maintaining the excellence of its offering" concludes Théotime Galmiche.
