E4C - Centre interdisciplinaire Energy4Climate

Le Centre interdisciplinaire Energy4Climate (E4C) s’implique dans la transition énergétique, par le biais de la recherche, de la formation et de l’innovation.

Près de 30 laboratoires travaillent au sein d’E4C sur quatre thématiques transversales pour réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre, améliorer l’efficacité énergétique, déployer les énergies renouvelables et proposer des politiques énergétiques pertinentes.

Les activités du centre sont développées par ses chercheurs en lien avec des acteurs du monde socio-économique. Elles associent les sciences sociales et économiques, les sciences des matériaux et l'ingénierie, les mathématiques appliquées, l'informatique ou encore la géophysique. Le centre développe des plateformes instrumentales, des modèles pour la prospective énergétique et la prévision ou encore un centre de données : le E4C DataHub.
