A student residence where life is good

Located in the heart of the campus, the student residence (RDE) has nearly 200 rooms. Just three minutes from the classrooms, it offers a pleasant and secure living environment for all residents.

Work in progress:

A major renovation project is underway at the student residence, with the aim of converting all single rooms into studios equipped with kitchenettes and bathrooms. The number of available rooms is reduced as a result.

Steps to follow to reserve a room

  1. Students who wish to reserve accommodation on the ENSTA Bretagne campus must apply online via the RDE reservation website.
  2. A room reservation with the RDE cannot be confirmed until a deposit of €330 has been paid. However, this step does not guarantee that a room will be allocated.
  3. Students will receive an individual response by email after submitting their accommodation request, specifying whether it has been accepted. The type of accommodation requested will be allocated based on availability.

During the school closure, from August 2 to 17, 2025, no rooms will be allocated. Applications (new or pending) will be processed starting August 18.

Key collection and inventory

Upon your arrival on campus, if your request has been accepted and you have received a confirmation email, the key will be available at the reception desk at the campus entrance (open 24/7).

An inventory will be carried out upon arrival and departure.

Cancellation of reservation

In the event of cancellation of the reservation, the student must notify the residence manager 8 days before the start date at ENSTA Bretagne. Failure to comply with this instruction will result in a €50 penalty being charged on the reservation amount.

Housing assistance

Students may be eligible for housing assistance from the Family Allowance Fund (CAF). This assistance covers part of the monthly rent. The application form must be completed online on the CAF website. The student residence is a non-CROUS university residence.

  • Submit your application as soon as you move into your accommodation. The date on which your application is submitted is the date on which your entitlement begins. You will not receive housing assistance for your first month's rent.
