Qui sommes-nous ?

Héritière de près de 3 siècles d'histoire, l'ENSTA occupe une place de premier plan dans le paysage français de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche.

École d’ingénieurs pluridisciplinaire proposant des formations d’excellence, l'ENSTA est membre fondateur de l'Institut Polytechnique de Paris, qui réunit six institutions d’enseignement et de recherche de premier rang en France et à l’International.

Sous la tutelle du ministère des armées, l'ENSTA est un établissement public sous statut EPSCP-GE. L'école irrigue de nombreux secteurs d'activités correspondant à ses domaines d’excellence, comme la défense et la sécurité, l'ingénierie de la santé, l'ingénierie marine, le numérique ou encore les transports et la mobilité. 

L'ENSTA dispose de deux campus. Le siège situé à Palaiseau sur le plateau de Saclay, est à proximité immédiate de nombreux établissements et institutions scientifiques renommée. Le campus de Brest positionné à proximité de la mer et d'institutions de référence dans le domaine des sciences et technologies marines.

La recherche fait partie des grandes missions de l’École. Elle est structurée autour de 6 unités de formations et de recherche et implique une dizaine de laboratoires.
