CIMO - Centre Interdisciplinaire Mers et Océan

Le CIMO est un centre d'enseignement et de recherche interdisciplinaire pour conduire des projets de recherche collaboratifs en sciences et ingénierie maritimes.

La France occupe une position de premier plan à l’échelle internationale dans les domaines économiques, industriels et scientifiques liés à la mer. Réunissant les équipes de recherche interdisciplinaires de l'IP Paris et d'Ifremer, le CIMO s’intègre pleinement dans les initiatives françaises visant à diminuer l’empreinte écologique des activités maritimes et à renforcer la surveillance environnementale des milieux marins.

La fusion des ENSTA en 2025 au sein d'IP Paris, présente sur les campus de Palaiseau et de Brest, offre une nouvelle dynamique en recherche, formation et innovation pour répondre aux grands enjeux sociétaux dans les activités maritimes.
