Advanced Master of Marketing, Management and Communication

Specialisation: Marketing for engineers and scientists

Goal

This Specialised Mastère was created in Paris by the Toulouse École Supérieure de Commerce jointly with ENSTA. It aims to train high-level managers capable of defining and implementing marketing and communication policies for businesses and organisations.

General approach

The "Marketing, Management and Communication" specialist Mastère is designed to offer science graduates (engineers, pharmacists, etc.) operational skills in the field of marketing, marketing tools and the implications for the company. It paves the way for various functions with a strong marketing component: project engineer, sales engineer, product manager, marketing studies supervisor, external and internal communication, consulting.

Generally speaking, it trains students for functions combining both marketing and the technology of the products concerned, often with the goal of designing products, installation or services specific to the customer.

This Specialist Mastère has been taught in Toulouse since 1987. It was offered in Paris for the first time in 2005 where it is more specifically focused on industrial marketing and B to B.

This cycle is organised in a way that is particularly favourable to continuing education as the hours enable the student to continue with his or her professional activities throughout the training programme. It is also ideal for initial training enabling the student to acquire professional experience at the same time.

Duration and timetable

This training is given during evening classes (17h-21h). The cycle comprises:

  • 7 months of classes (about 450 hours)
  • 6-month internship (can be done in the original company, or part-time work can be carried out during the course period)
